What are cognitive biases? We can imagine them as fallacious heuristics, which have the power to distort reality. Ok, but what are heuristics? Heuristics are mental shortcuts , hasty and intuitive processes that we constantly apply to save energy. And cognitive biases are these things that are not always reliable: that is, prejudices that arise automatically in our heads, not at all logical, but which have the ability to influence our decisions . Without going into too much technical detail and trying to simplify as much as possible, I want to show you in this video some of the most widespread cognitive biases and see how these act in communication and marketing (from videos, to adverts, to social media).
